I was saddened to hear about the passing of Eldee today. I had the pleasure of playing with him on several occasions at the Fairmont Hotel a few years ago. He had a ton of energy and was the consumate entertainer. He also told some of the best stories I've ever heard. . .truly a unique cat.
It's been a tough couple weeks; first Barbaro the horse, and now Anna Nicole Smith. America grieves. Fortunately, there's good music to help you forget all about it!

Saturday March 10, Jazz Salon at PianoForte Chicago, 3PM This is a solo piano recital series that features the Fazioli piano, one of the best pianos in the world.
